Dinner Presentation: What Got You Here Won’t Get You There

Is something robbing you of your future success? Your talents, skills and accomplishments got you where you are today. But, some of these behaviors could actually be holding you back now, and in ways you don’t expect. Even if your goals have stayed the same, the world of business around you hasn’t. Will you still be able to accomplish what you want in the future? And with the fierce competition for jobs, will decision-makers continue to see you as the best person for the evolving responsibilities of the job you’re doing today?

This powerful, solutions-based, program is based on years of coaching middle and senior managers in several Fortune 1000 companies.  Organizational senior leaders struggle to find the right person for key lateral or next level positions.  These same leaders spend millions each year on coaches for key people to help promising key people to identify and take on the actions to move ahead.  Even with coaches, often these key people can’t do what it takes to make the jump.  Why?  What’s holding them back?  What does the organization want?

To get specific, the objective of this presentation is to look at yourself, not from your current job, but from the job to which you aspire and to understand possible future actions — while still maintaining your own unique style.

By attending this session, you will…

– Recognize why you may need to change the way you approach things to accelerate your success
– Learn about habits that may be holding you back
– Assess next level behaviors, characteristics, and challenges
– Understand that greater importance is placed on interpersonal skills at higher levels
